holiday musings / 4:57 PM

it's been a long time since i visited this place. but ah well, the sheer boredom the hols have been thus far has driven me here.

it's not that the hols have been bad, or unenjoyable. quite the contrary - physically i feel better than i have for a looong time, a product of the good food and *gasp* good sleep that i've gotten since the hols began. i may have been physically fitter during season, but you get the idea.

other than floorball chalet (courtesy of sean's chalet-booking foresight), NOTHING's been happening. NOTHING. and this explains why i am trapped within the uniquely Singaporean contraption known as a HDB flat, forced into mentally jumping through hoops and running treadmills by the upcoming SAT.

and even floorball chalet was quite phaill for most of sunday afternoon, with barely a handful even there until quite late in the night. on hindsight, i should have gone to watch r-proj, but that's another story.

meanwhile, this business of studying alone at home for the SAT is unbelievably mind-numbing. a mere 15 minutes into another section, i start looking for something else to distract me, which i invariably find. the newspapers and news magazines lying around have become surprisingly comforting companions, and i can't help pouncing on any online news update about the upcoming world cup.

maybe it's a deep cry within me for some measure of companionship amidst the drivel-inducing SAT practice, but damnit am i bored.

and ranting about being bored makes me BORED-ER. :/

shall uhh endeavour to find a more "productive" use of my time.

/ open up your mind;
But I won't hesitate no more,
No more, it cannot wait
I'm yours

/ damn, you're free;

hits!
